About Jack
Jack Sarsen is an Associate Real Estate Broker, one of the founding agents of Compass in Connecticut, and a member of the Compass Sports & Entertainment Division. Before entering real estate, Jack spent twenty-five years at the executive level of some of the most respected names in marketing and information services — senior account management at Ogilvy & Mather and Grey, followed by strategic planning and marketing leadership at Gartner and Wolters Kluwer. The discipline he learned advising Fortune 500 clients on positioning, messaging, and high-stakes commercial decisions is the same discipline he brings to representing a home.
After fifty years in Greenwich and lower Fairfield County, Jack knows this market the way someone knows a place they have lived their entire life. He knows the streets, the schools, the families, the buyers, and the agents on the other side of the table. He knows which homes will trade and which will sit, which buyers are genuine and which are not, and how to position a property so the right people show up at the right moment. That kind of knowledge is not acquired in a few seasons. It compounds over a lifetime, and it is the foundation of every engagement.
The Sarsen Team has closed more than $1.3 billion in residential transactions across Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, and the broader tri-state market. Clients consistently cite Jack's strategic vision, creative problem-solving, and ability to navigate complex deals as the reasons their transactions close. He does not chase listings, run a high-volume practice, or hand off his clients. Every engagement is personal, every property is treated as a singular asset, and every decision reflects the judgment of someone who has spent a career advising clients on what truly matters.
